Usage Guidelines & Terms

By using Manga Slayer, you agree to these terms. Read them carefully. We provide the sword; how you wield it is your responsibility.

1. The "Tool Provider" Neutrality Clause

Manga Slayer is a technological utility provider. We offer software solutions (OCR, AI Inpainting, Image Upscaling) for image processing.

WE DO NOT HOST, DISTRIBUTE, OR INDEX MANGA, COMICS, OR COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL.

Our servers act strictly as a processing pipeline. When a user uploads an image, it is processed algorithmically and returned to the user. No permanent copy is retained in our public-facing database. As such, Manga Slayer cannot be held liable for the copyright status of the content processed by its users, akin to how Adobe is not liable for images edited in Photoshop.

2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You agree to use our API and Tools responsibly. The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate, permanent ban:

Automated Scraping: Using bots, crawlers, or scripts to access our tools without using the official API endpoints.
Reverse Engineering: Attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, or discover the source code of our AI models or fingerprinting logic.
Service Disruption: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system or breach security or authentication measures (DDoS).
Illegal Content: Processing images that contain illegal material (e.g., CSAM). We have a zero-tolerance policy and will report such activities to relevant authorities.

3. Intellectual Property & AI Output

Your Content: You retain all rights to the images you upload. We claim no ownership over your inputs.

AI Output: The cleaned, upscaled, or processed images generated by our AI models are provided to you with a worldwide, royalty-free license to use. However, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the processed output does not infringe on third-party copyrights.

Our Assets: The Manga Slayer name, logo, UI design, and underlying code are the exclusive property of Manga Slayer.

4. DMCA & Copyright Disputes

Manga Slayer respects the intellectual property rights of others. Since we do not host content, we cannot "remove" manga chapters because they do not exist on our servers.

However, if you believe that our tools are being used to circumvent copyright protection mechanisms in a way that violates the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act), you may send a notice to our designated agent.

5. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANGA SLAYER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

In no event shall Manga Slayer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
